ALZHEIMERS' APRONS

Cushions are probably not a good idea as they can slide off the lap. An apron has been suggested or a small lap quilt.
Here is an apron that has removable straps. Remember to make it washable and lightweight for drying and storing away.

Enough blocks for interest and variety. The straps have velcro to hold them in place or left off. There are attached daisies, a corner pocket, ribbon and bow. Bottom left is fringed fleece.

Laces to tie, elastic in a casing, button and strap "handkerchief" attached to inside of pocket and some suffolk puffs.

Slider on tape, zip, satin ribbon attached at edges, a flap, puffs and animals under a flap.

THE TRAVELING QUILT UPDATE

The quilt from every State is nearly complete. It will make it's debut at the Melbourne quilt show before going around the country to other shows. Try to see it if possible. It is 4m wide.

Markers show where the blocks came from.

Fabric postcards to be fixed around the centre.

SUCCESFUL WORKSHOP

The workshop held at Yeppoon in January was very enjoyable and here are some of the colourful results.
This is like being caught in a rainbow!

Beautiful and intricate work.

The different fabric choices led to a variety of patterns.
